Canine Good Citizenship (CGC)
Learn to control your dog outside your home with lots of distractions... after all that's the REAL WORLD.
Our CGC or Canine Good Citizenship Class is often called our good manners class. Dogs passing this class are certified by the American Kennel Club and can become therapy dogs at local hospitals or nursing homes. Our class is considered one of the best in the region. Taught by Maggie DiLullo an American Kennel Club certified administrator, students get a great deal of 1-1 attention and assistance from Maggie. And since taking over the planning and teaching of this class, 82% of students taking the test have received their CGC Certificates!!
You will learn these very important skills:
Control of your dog...
u When you approach another dog
u When you meet a friendly stranger who pets your dog
u When you stop to talk to a friend
u When you walk on a loose leash through a crowd or down the street
All exercises are taught using ONLY positive reinforcement and by a Certified Instructor.
Registration information:
Only $140 for each dog.
Classes are offered Tuesday evening at 7PM and Saturday morning at 10AM.
Classes are limited in size, so please schedule now.
Note: There are specific obedience requirements and skills for this class.

Competition Obedience: Rally-O
We now offer a beginning Rally-O class utilizing our exclusive Positive Reinforcement Training Program. Both pure bred dogs and mixed breed dogs are welcome in this class and there are competitions for mix breeds as well as pure breds. This is a fun class even if you don't want to compete with your dog.
In this class you will learn advanced obedience including attention work, advanced heeling, fronts, finishes, stands and lateral movement useful in today's Rally Obedience.
Registration information:
Cost of classes: $140 for 8 weeks.
